Making money online in Kenya has never been an easy job for anyone figuring out how to make even a dollar a day. From the journey I went through, I will be able to share my online growth and experience from the year 2018. Back in college, making an extra coin really pushed me to the edges. Throughout the night after my studies, I would scroll, looking for sites that could make me earn money remotely or different ways to make money online. Being scammed at the beginning was something not to avoid because I really needed the money.It took me a year without getting any site that could make me earn some coins. Luckily enough, with consistency, hard work, and patience, I got into a money-making forum where I could get paid for posting about tips on how to make money online.
Forum posting really helped me and opened my gate to learning how to identify online scams and also to differentiate legit sites that pay and those that you could end up losing your effort and time on without getting paid. I learned and managed to work with several get-paid-to task sites, which I will be sharing with you in my Earn Money Onine page, and I will provide an honest review on each site I have worked with.
After working for some months with the Get Paid to task site, I learned that it was not sustainable; being a student multitasking was a bit hard. That is why I started working on affiliate marketing. The good thing with affiliate marketing is I could spend less of my time posting and writing a review about a particular company or product and also earn passively, which was more convenient compared to working on forum sites and getting paid to do tasks. It was this time when Jumia affiliate program was booming and this was my first program to join.
I could spend a few munites sharing the products from Jumia market place.For each product i shared through the social media platforms with a link guiding interested buyers to Jumia. The link ws unique and it was provided after you signed up as an affiliate wit Jumia. This was just the beginning of my affiliate journey.
Affiliate marketing got me really motivated to work online after my first payout, which I will be sharing in my coming blog posts about reviewing the affiliate sites that have paid me all along to date. In 2019 a friend introduced me to forex trading after he learned the basics of trading from the Nairobi School of Forex back in 2018. I paid him 1500 Ksh to copy his notes from forex school. I noticed forex was not an easy thing, and my friend warned me that it may take several years before I figure it out. The rest is history, reason being that i spent more than three years to find an hedge in forex trading. I made forex a longterm thing after i realised you can make a living through and that is why i didnt rush to investing but instead decided to put focus into mastering the art of trading.
